Throwback Tuesday Revlon parfumerie Sunlit grass

Sunlit grass is a lovely daffodil yellow, because this polish is a parfumerie polish from revlon when the polish dries it smells fresh and floral. The consistency of this polish is thin I did have to take my time when applying also the coverage isn't the greatest the polish does apply patchy and streaky but it does get fully opaque in three coats and smells lovely when it dries, I would suggest not applying a top coat because you will lose the smell of the polish.

I purchased this polish from poundland

Friday Favorites – Empties Part 2

Sally hansen Hard as nails Natural tint

I bought this product a while ago because I hoped it would be like the perfect formula gel coat because the gel coat is harder for me to get my hands on and it costs a lot more. I am happy to say this product did the job it makes your nails look almost perfect it whitens your tips, it just makes your nails look nice and I got through all of this bottle before it got thick which is good so if you are looking for a cheaper version of the perfect formula pink gel that wont get thick I would recommend this.

Soap and glory Hand food

I am obsessed with the smell of this hand cream I can't put my finger on what is smells like but it is a floral scent that is in your face. This hand cream isn't to thick and its not greasy at all it just sinks in nicely I would definitely recommend this product maybe not so much if you don't like strong smells but I think the smell is lovely.

Coco on the beach cuticle balm

This is a nice cuticle balm that reminds me of summer. This balm isn't super oily and sinks in nicely even though the tub is small this product lasts a while. I like this cuticle balm so much I have bought another one but I am saving it for when summer comes around because the balm smells of summer.

Clarins Hand and nail treatment cream

This hand cream hasn't got the nicest of smells it does smell a bit like a grans perfume. It is a nice cream the texture is nice and it does sink in quickly. I can't really tell you if it helped my age spots because I don't have any yet and I cant tell you if it strengthened my nails because I use a lot of other nail products that help for that kind of thing.

Revlon Colorstay gel envy diamond top coat

I liked this top coat it is slightly on the thicker side but it was easy to work with, this top coat is super glossy and made my manicures last longer. This product didn't thicken when I neared the bottom of the bottle which is a plus , but I do have a problem with the bottle, the problem is that the bottle is dark black which means I couldn't see how far down I was with this product and how much I had used but that is just cosmetic, the product was good to use and I would purchase it again.

Loccitane Cherry blossom hand cream

I love the scent of this hand cream its floral and feminine. This hand cream isn't thick which is good it sinks into the skin nicely and leaves the smell on your hands for a while which is nice because I love the smell, this is just a nice hand cream nothing special but I do love the scent.

Thrifty Thursday- Revlon parfumerie Wild violets

The parfumerie range from Revlon are polishes that let off a perfumed smell correlating to the polishes name and colour when the polish are dry so please don't go sniffing straight from the bottle because it will just smell like nail polish. Wild violets is a deep aubergine polish with a very fine red glitter this polish will almost look black when painted on the nails, and also when applied the glitter isn't so apparent. This polish has good coverage on the first coat its just ever so slightly patchy so I applied two coats for full opacity the consistency was good it isn't to thick or thin, this polish smells of flowers when it is dry on the nail.

Revlon - Fascinate

Fascinate is a lovey purple polish with a blue shimmer that makes the polish look like a blue/purple duo chrome. This polish is similar to sinful colors lets talk which I reviewed last week but fascinate is a lot deeper and has more blue in it. The consistency is quite thin and the polish does apply very patchy, I would say it takes 3 coats to get this polish fully opaque but the end result is lovely.

Revlon - Indigo night

Indigo night is a medium blue polish this polish has decent coverage on the first coat but its not fully opaque so I would suggest two coats of polish, the polish doesn't apply patchy or streaky but the consistency isn't the greatest. The consistency is on the thinner side so I would suggest taking your time while applying a plus is that this polish didn't stain my nails when I removed it.

Revlon - Rain forest

Rain forest is a deep forest green polish with small gold flakies running through the polish. This polish hasn't got the best formulation it is a jelly polish and the first coat is sheer and patchy, I would say it takes 3 coats to make this polish fully opaque also the consistency isn't the greatest it is quite thin so just take your time while applying. The finish is lovely and the polish doesn't stain when you remove it just be careful when removing the polish because the flakies will go everywhere but maybe I am just messy at taking my polish off.

Revlon - Bold sangria

Bold sangria is a beautiful aubergine unfortunately the picture makes the polish look a lot darker, trust me you can see more of the purple/aubergine colour in person. The consistency isn't the best it is on the thinner side I would suggest taking your time when applying because the polish tends to run down the brush. The coverage for the first coat is decent but the second coat makes the polish fully opaque. I think this is a lovely autumn/winter colour it doesn't stain your nails when you choose to remove it which is a plus because some darker colours like purples, blues, reds and greens tend to stain your nails slightly but this polish didn't stain my nails.

Revlon - Blue slate

Blue slate is a medium blue/grey, also I feel this polish has slight green undertones. This polish applied lovely it is fully opaque in one coat and the polish applied with no streaks and no patches. The consistency is slightly thicker but not so thick that its to hard to work with, I would say the polish in the bottle looked a lot lighter than what applied on the nail, in the bottle the polish looks like a grey with a slight hint of blue but on the nail the polish has more blue and is a lot deeper. I would also like to mention the bush, I love this polishes brush the brush is slightly wider than some brushes but not as wide as a rimmel brush, I think personally for me the revlon brush has a perfect wideness, and also the tip is rounded which also helps with application.

Revlon Colour stay- Pocket aces

Pocket aces is a bright coral polish , the formula was slightly on the thicker side but the consistency didn't make it hard to paint , what also helped was the brush which is on the thicker side. The polish itself was a only needed two coats but it didn't dry super glossy so you would definitely need a top coat.
