Sally hansen - Jet set jade

Jet set jade is not a jade polish its a lovely emerald green polish with a green shimmer running through it. This polish is slightly patchy on the first coat but the second coat covered everything and made the polish fully opaque. The consistency is nice the polish is easy to apply but the brush is on the wider side so I would suggest taking slightly more time while applying.

Rimmel - Blue eyed girl

Blue eyed girl is a bright azure blue polish, this polish has a very thin consistency and a wider brush so this polish is a slight pain to apply I just took my time while applying. The coverage is good I had to apply thinner coats because of the brush and consistency but the polish is almost fully opaque in one coat, also this polish slightly stained when I removed it so maybe applying a white base would prevent the staining.

Rimmel - Hot list

Hot list is a plumy brown polish with a pink shimmer running though it. The coverage for this polish on the first coat is very sheer but I was impressed that I only had to apply two coats for this polish to be fully opaque. The pink shimmer in this polish doesn't really translate to the nail which is a shame because it looks lovely in the bottle, the consistency for this polish is good it's not to thick or thin again the polish has a wide and thick brush so if your not a fan you might not like this polish.

Rimmel - Round and round the garden

Round and round the garden is pistachio green with a hint of olive. This polish is a one coater but the consistency is on the thicker side. This is a nice polish I think it would be a lovely green to wear in the autumn time, again the brush is thick and wide which I don't mind but I know some people do.

Rimmel - Chic cherry

Chic cherry is a aubergine polish with a slight silver shimmer, this polish has a very thin consistency and wide brush, so I suggest taking your time when painting this polish on your nails because it will flood your cuticles and the polish will run off the brush while applying if your not careful. The first coat of this polish was very patchy but the second coat I applied made the polish fully opaque. I'm not impressed by the simmer in this polish there looks to be a lot in the bottle but you can hardly see the shimmer on the nail, this polish looks nice for the autumn/winter time but the formulation and consistency isn't the best.

Rimmel - Grey matter

Grey matter is a mid toned grey polish with a slight blue tone. This polish is fully opaque in one coat which is good but the consistency is on the thicker side. I have found that most rimmel brushes are wider and thicker so if you prefer a thinner brush this might not be the polish range for you. I know some people find a wider brush harder to use, but I have quite wide nails so I don't mind a wider brush but I do feel the rimmel brushes are slightly to wide. All in all this is a lovely quick grey polish so if your in the market for a cheep grey this just might be the polish or you.

Christmas is next month and we are all a little strapped for cash so this coming November I wanted to feature a whole month of polishes I purchased from pound shops .
