Treatment Tuesday- Ciate Nail goddess Serum elixir

I don't own a nail serum and so this product is a new one for me, a little warning if you do purchase this product don't apply it like a cuticle oil, I did the first time I tried this product because I was expecting a super hydrating good for your nails cuticle oil like product. This polish is supposed to be applied like a nail polish that it dries clear and with a slight tackiness, I do have a little bone to pick with ciate they do not give you much information about the product on their website or on the products box I would love to know more about what this product does and how I'm supposed to use it. The box does say that this product is super hydrating it contains vitamin B5 and Marula oil and it also says apply one coat to clean bare nails. I feel like this product sinks into your nails after a couple of hours, it will dry initially slightly glossy and after a couple of hours of it on my nails my nails will be matte, I am not sure If this is a wash off product again I don't have much information about this product I don't think it washes off like the knight in shinning armour treatment I think the product just sinks into your nails which is nice. I don't feel like my nails are super hydrated after wearing this product I don't know if this product does much for my nails I do use cuticle oils religiously and I didn't really see much of a difference when I used this product. I would love to try different nail serums and see how they work I love nail treatments and anything that is going to make my nails healthier I am willing to try, I just wish ciate would provide more information for their treatment products.

Fresh Friday- Ciate Knight in shining Armour

This type of product is something I have never seen in nail care before, this treatment is a overnight nail mask. This product is enriched in Marula oil for hydrating, brightening and revitalizing. You apply this product on a bare nail and wear it overnight and you just wash off the product in the morning.

My thoughts

This product has weird formula and consistency the product feels like a polish mixed with a cream its very thick to apply but it dries quite fast, it has a nail polish brush so its super easy to apply. It is quite rare for me not to have polish on my nails so I had to remember to remove my polish nightly and then apply this product. The treatment initially dries quite glossy but by the morning the product is matte. In the morning you are just supposed to wash off the product so no need for polish remover, I would say you have to scrub quite a bit for the product to come off If I had a nail brush I would use it but I just used my fingers and rubbed my nails and the product would finally come off. I feel like the product really helped my nails stop peeling as much which for me is great because I have a few nails that will grow to a certain point and then they will just start peeling, but I feel this product helped with that which in turn helps with nail growth. I will use this product twice a week for when my nails are in good condition but I think when my nails are needing that extra something I will use this a couple of nights in a row. I think this is a good product like I have said I haven't seen an overnight mask for nails before and I feel it has helped my nails , this treatment will make your nails look nicer overnight but for the actual results you might have to wait a bit longer for which I don't mind a little wait if it means my nails are going to be in better condition.

I purchased my Knight in shining Armour from the ciate website https://www.ciatelondon.com/uk/knight-in-shining-armour-overnight-nail-mask

Ciate - Tweed and tails

Tweed and tails is a deep khaki green polish. The consistency for this polish is kind of gloopy, but its not a hard formula to work with, this polish can definitely be a one coater but I did paint two for the durability of the polish .The polish had a lovely glossy finish and it dried really fast, this would be a perfect autumn colour.

If you would like to you can purchase the polish from here

My top summer nail colours

The colour of polish I wear on my nails changes throughout the year, in winter I wear black, grey and navy and in the summer I like to wear brighter coloured polishes, these are the five polish colours I gravitate towards in the summer.

Pink

A selection of pink polishes
Yes pink is a all year round nail colour for some people but for me I don't wear it that much except the summer time. A perfect pastel creamy pink is a perfect colour for a wedding, and if your scared of some of the brighter colours try a raspberry pink.

Orange
A selection of orange polishes
Don't be scared of colour on the nails, yes orange sounds scary but maybe try with a creamier orange that's not so neon.

A selection of green polishes
Green
Again don't be scared of colour you don't have to go full on with a Grinch green polish, there is some amazing mint pastel green polishes out there.

Purple
A selection of purple polishes
Purple might me another popular colour that a lot of people wear in the summer, to be honest with you I wear it all year round.

Blue

A selection of blue polishes
Blue sounds a very 80's colour but don't worry I thought that at first but now blue polish is one of my favorite colours to wear.

Don't be scared of colour nail polish is temporary, if you are not sure about it remove it , so have fun with some colour this summer.
