Treatment Tuesday Neutrogena Visibly renew hand cream

This hand cream has a nice consistency its somewhere in between a lotion and a rich butter, it sinks lovely into the skin. This hand cream is hydrating but not super moisturizing, this cream would be perfect for the warmer months when the sun is out because it sinks in quite fast and also has SPF 20. This is a lovely hand cream it sinks in and leaves your hands silky smooth without being slippery and it doesn't leave your hands feeling like they have something on them.

Treatment Tuesday The body shop Olive beautifying oil

This winter my hands have been extremely dry, so dry and scaly that they have been cracking. I found this oil in my products drawer I think I received it in a beauty box a while back, I bought some cotton gloves on amazon and every night or when I can at night time I liberally apply the oil on my hands and cuticles and put on the cotton gloves and just let it sink in, you can sleep with the cotton gloves on I don't because I know the gloves would annoy me when I sleep so I sit with the gloves on and watch a hour long show and the oil will have sunk into my cuticles and skin by time the show finishes. The product is oily because its an oil but its not a thick and heavy oil its quite thin, it smells like almond oil with a slight floral hint .This product contains four different oils olive, kukui, sweet almond and marula oil. This is a great treatment if you have dry cuticles and hands which in the winter I do, if you don't have dry hands just apply the product to your cuticles it will give your cuticles a really hydrating treatment.

You can buy cotton gloves for cheep from most places but you can purchase them from http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0018LMH6A?keywords=cotton%20gloves&qid=1457375031&ref_=sr_1_1&rps=1&sr=8-1

Treatment Tuesday- Ciate Nail goddess Serum elixir

I don't own a nail serum and so this product is a new one for me, a little warning if you do purchase this product don't apply it like a cuticle oil, I did the first time I tried this product because I was expecting a super hydrating good for your nails cuticle oil like product. This polish is supposed to be applied like a nail polish that it dries clear and with a slight tackiness, I do have a little bone to pick with ciate they do not give you much information about the product on their website or on the products box I would love to know more about what this product does and how I'm supposed to use it. The box does say that this product is super hydrating it contains vitamin B5 and Marula oil and it also says apply one coat to clean bare nails. I feel like this product sinks into your nails after a couple of hours, it will dry initially slightly glossy and after a couple of hours of it on my nails my nails will be matte, I am not sure If this is a wash off product again I don't have much information about this product I don't think it washes off like the knight in shinning armour treatment I think the product just sinks into your nails which is nice. I don't feel like my nails are super hydrated after wearing this product I don't know if this product does much for my nails I do use cuticle oils religiously and I didn't really see much of a difference when I used this product. I would love to try different nail serums and see how they work I love nail treatments and anything that is going to make my nails healthier I am willing to try, I just wish ciate would provide more information for their treatment products.

Treatment Tuesday- NYC Strip me off (Peel of base coat)

I was in the market for a peel off base coat for a while because I swatch a lot of nail polish and I didn't wear a lot of my glitter polishes because the removal was such a pain in the ass. When I was originally looking for a peel off base coat there wasn't much options there is a few more now but they aren't massively available, I have had this base coat for about 7/8 months and I use is for all my swatches and sometimes my normal manicures and I am only about half way through which is good but also annoying because this base coat is ok if you let your polish fully dry, your polish will peel of nicely if you have a day old manicure and put some cuticle oil on to remove but when you have semi dry manicure that you are only applying to swatch this peel off base coat is crap it will just ball up and just get messy. This base coat is a hit and miss sometimes my normal manicures will peel off too easily which when you want to wear that polish for a couple of days can suck but with my glitter polish manicures it will be a pain to peel off, it might be ok to peel off the top of my nail but at the tips of my nails it wont peel of so easily, also you will sometimes get lumps in your base coat which is not what you want for a smooth manicure. I do have other peel off base coats that I haven't tried yet because I want to get through this one before I open another one. I like the idea of a peel off base coat but I am not the biggest fan of this particular one.

I bought this at superdrug I cant find it on the site but I'm sure they still sell it in store.

Treatment Tuesday Barry M Mani mask Bashful

This new product is a nail treatment that states that it will camouflage, colour and condition your nails. I can't tell you if the treatment/conditioning side of this product works because I haven't used it for long enough but in this post I can tell you about the application of the product. The consistency of this polish is on the thicker side but the brush is slightly wider and rounded at the tip so I found it easy to apply. This polish is a lovely baby pink which doesn't apply patchy which is great because sometimes lighter polishes apply quite streaky but this particular polish doesn't streak it applies smoothly. With this polish you wont get it fully opaque, you can apply one coat and just get a sheer coverage making your nails slightly pink or you can apply two coats, I feel when you apply two coats of this product it gives you more of a fake nails look but it just depends what you like the look of but you can apply just one coat and it will look fine, this polish does dry matte but its just personal preference if you apply a glossy top coat or not.

One coat of the product (Sheer coverage)

Two coats of the product

I purchases this product fromhttp://www.superdrug.com/Make-Up/Nails/Nail-Polish/Barry-M-Mani-Mask-Cc-Birthday-Suit-10Ml/p/604602 But you can buy it at your local Barry M counter at boots or anywhere that stock Barry M.

Treatment Tuesday – Jessica Phenomen Oil

If you have read previous blog posts you know I am obsessed with cuticle products and this is the cuticle oil I am currently using so I thought I would review it. This is a lovely oil it has a nice texture its slightly thicker than your normal cuticle oils but I sometimes prefer a slightly thicker oil. The oil is slightly greasy but only slightly the oil sinks into your cuticles beautifully, yes it wont sink in immediately but it is a super hydrating oil. The smell is lovey as well it reminds me of almond oil its kind of sweet and nutty but the scent isn't overpowering. This oil is slightly more expensive than most oils but this oil is super hydrating and not overly greasy/oily and you only need the tiniest amount this oil will last you a couple of months.

Treatment Tuesday- Maybelline Dr rescue SOS balm

I am slightly obsessed with cuticle balms, oils and butters so when I saw this product in my local boots I had to pick it up and I am so glad I did. I haven't really seen a mainstream brand that do mostly makeup sell cuticle treatments, I know L'Oreal, rimmel, Revlon and maybelline make nail polish but I haven't seen hand/cuticle care products from these brands before. I didn't have high hopes for this balm until I used it, this balm is lovely it is non greasy but hydrating and it sinks in incredibly fast. This balm is the perfect cuticle product for when your out and about, you do have to apply it to your skin rather than applying it to your nail because if you apply it to your nail you will waste a little bit of product and dent the balm but that's just what I do its just my personal preference. The balm has a slight smell but its not strong at all but I can't put my finger on what it smells like. I would highly recommend this product if your not into cuticle oils because this product is non greasy most cuticle oils have a greasy feeling and leave an oily film that may take a while to sink in and some people don't like the oily feeling but this product does not do that at all. I am so glad I picked this up and when I finish this one I will definitely be picking up another one, this product is now my handbag staple cuticle product for when I'm out and about.

I would highly recommend you pick up one of these when your out I purchased mine at a boots but anywhere with a maybelline counter should have this product.

Treatment Tuesday- Burts bees Lemon butter cuticle cream

Sorry for the naked yellow nails
This is the perfect cuticle cream/butter for the colder months it is creamy thick and super moisturizing. The product is slightly greasy but you will get that with most cuticle butters and it does take slightly longer to sink into your cuticles. The smell of this product is lovely as soon as you open the tin you can smell super zesty lemon, I would say I'm not the biggest fan of the tin its slightly harder to open and when you have less product in the tin the product is harder to come out because you get half the product under your nails so I would suggest just to scrape some product out with a cuticle pusher. I feel this product will last the whole winter season plus some you don't need much product at all to see results, its a lovely cuticle butter that melts nicely as you rub it into your cuticles and its super hydrating.

Treatment Tuesday - Soaps for little suds Bubble pebble

I received this bubble pebble in a nail box from paint the rainbow, I thought this product would be a lot softer to break than it was its quite hard I thought it would just crumble to pieces. I used half the pebble for one use which means I will get two uses out of one pebble. I put quite warm water in a medium sized bowl and put the bubble pebble in the water, the product does foam slightly on top of the water. The water did turn slightly yellow its not the prettiest water I have seen but its not all about the aesthetics. The smell is slightly fruity which is nice, I think this product can be used in the bath as well I just used it as a hand soak. I soaked my hands for about 10-15 minutes, after taking my hands out of the water my hands felt soft and the fruity smell lingered on my hands for quite a while afterwards I think this product would be great to use for preparing your hands for a manicure.

I don't think soaps for little suds have a main website but you can check out their facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/Soaps-For-Little-Suds-481467335249949/?fref=ts
