Some places where I like to purchase my nail polishes

I just wanted to write a little post about some places where I like to purchase nail polishes/products from.

Amazon

Amazon is the place I like to older collections from , I think amazon have some good prices for their polishes, I mostly like to purchase from amazon marketplace which is just many different sellers that sell on amazon a bit like ebay but I think its easier to use. Amazon also sell a lot of different nail treatments bu a little warning amazon is addictive just be careful. http://www.amazon.co.uk/ref=nav_logo

Pound shops

I find a lot of polishes in pound shops yes they are older polishes and you have to rummage through a lot of polishes to find something you might like but its worth it for me. Surprisingly pound shops have some really well known brands I have found sally hansen and O.P.I polishes in a pound shops. I would just say be careful with the very separated polishes, just give them a little shake and if they don't come together I would just leave the polish but who doesn't love a bargain.

Etsy

I really like etsy for indie polish brands, etsy is a site that has many independent sellers that sell anything and everything but they have quite a lot of indie polish brands, you might need to know some brands to start your search but etsy is an easy site to navigate the only thing I'm not the biggest fan of with etsy is postage prices so if you are purchasing polish from America and you live in the uk like me make sure its a bigger order you place because postage can be up to £20 sometimes and if you are buying one polish for £4-£5 its not going to be worth placing an order but I love the variety of indie polishes on etsy. https://www.etsy.com/

Nail polish direct

Nail polish direct is a online shop that stocks many different brands of polish. I like the site because they stock zoya, color club and china glaze which are harder brands to find in the UK, also delivery is free for UK orders at any price so you can buy one china glaze polish which costs around about £4 and get free delivery, they also deliver fast the longest I have had to wait for an order is 4-5 days at the most.

Thank you for reading this post I just wanted to share some places where I like to buy my polishes I hope you enjoyed reading this post, please leave a comment below telling me where you like to buy your polishes and treatments.

CMHandmadeuk- Neon collection

Pink tip

Pink tip is a shocking in your face cerise pink polish. The consistency of this polish is nice its not to thick or thin and the polish is smooth to apply. The coverage for the first coat is decent you can still see some nail line, the polish doesn't apply streaky which is a plus for a neon polish. I would say depending on how thick a layer of polish you apply it will take 2-3 coats to make this polish fully opaque, I would suggest that you apply a glossy top coat just to make this polish pop.

Grasshopper

Grasshopper is a in your face neon green, this polish reminds me of slimer from ghostbusters. This polish has a lovely consistency just like pink tip it applies smoothly it doesn't apply patchy or streaky but the coverage isn't the best for this polish its quite sheer I applied 3-4 coats and you could still see some nail line, I would suggest for this polish you layer it over a white polish, depending on what white you use you can have one layer of white with two coats of grasshopper and it will look lovely.

Neverland

Neverland is a teal polish, I personally don't think this is a neon but its still a nice colour, unfortunately the formulation is the same as grasshopper its very sheer even on the third coat I could still see nail line so again like grasshopper I would suggest layering this polish over a white base polish, the consistency is lovely its not to thick or thin it doesn't apply streaky just very sheer.

Electric

Electric is a bright azure blue polish, this polish does apply slightly patchy on the first coat. I would say depending how thick a layer you apply it will take 2-3 coats to be opaque. This polish is nice but I am partial to a blue polish, a plus of this polish is that it doesn't stain your nails like some blue polishes do.

Salvia

Salvia is a aubergine polish the colour reminds me of barney the dinosaur , I would say this polish hasn't got the best formula in the collection just because it applies quite patchy. Its not a hard formula to work with you just have to take your time while applying, it doesn't have a thin consistency so you don't have to worry about the polish running off your brush, this polish takes 2-3 coats to be fully opaque it is a lovely colour I just wouldn't call it neon.

   I purchased mine from

My favorite pink polishes

This is the third post in my favorite series and today's colour is pink, I don't really wear much pink polish nowadays so I apologize that all four polishes are from the same brand and all four polishes are a very similar shade of pink again I'm sorry it's just the kind of pink I prefer to wear, these four polishes are just my go to in a pink mood polishes.

Nails inc – Strawberry hill

Strawberry hill is a deep cerise/ strawberry shortcake's hair colour polish. This polish has a good consistency the polish isn't to thick or thin, this polish is a one coater yes its opaque in one coat. This polish is just a easy smooth polish, yes the colour is nothing special but it is just a easy to use polish. Unfortunately my camera is playing up so its making the picture look slightly washed out, but in real life the polish is deeper than the picture.

Nails inc – Belgrave square

Belgrave square is a mid tone hot pink polish with silver glitter running through the polish. This polish was my go to pink I think I wore it to death, I have almost finished the bottle which for me is an achievement because I have never finished a nail polish, I would definitely buy another bottle this polish but I can't find it anywhere, so if anyone knows where I can purchase this polish please leave me a comment. The consistency of this polish is on the thicker side but I think its because I have had it for years, this polish is quite sheer on the first coat and it does take about 2-3 coats to be fully opaque, what I also what to mention is that the silver glitter that is in this polish is quite subtle which I like and also the polish is easy to remove you aren't left with glitter on your fingers.

Nails inc – Wellington street

Wellington street is a barbie pink polish, this polish is almost a one coater you can see slight nail line with one coat, I did paint two coats but you can only slightly see nail line with one coat. The consistency for this polish is good, again nothing is extra special about this polish its just a nice polish.

Nails inc – South molton street

South molton street is a in your face some might say neon raspberry pink polish. I say some might say neon is because what I think is neon you might not say is neon. This polish is on the thinner side for its consistency but its not hard to work with it doesn't run off the brush like some other thin polishes, this polish is almost opaque in one coat, you might get it fully opaque if you do a thicker coat but I wouldn't risk flooding my cuticles and I would probably paint two coats of a polish anyway.

Color club – Poptastic collection

Kapow!

Kapow! is a hot pink neon polish that has a silvery blue shimmer that runs through the polish. The consistency of this polish is on the thinner side but the polish isn't so thin that it runs down the brush when you paint your nails. The first coat had decent coverage, it will take about 2-3 coats to get this polish fully opaque depending on how thick a layer you apply. The silvery blue shimmer that runs through this polish doesn't really show when the polish is applied on the nail, unfortunately the swatch picture makes the polish look washed out in real life its a lot more hot pink.

Foxy mama

Foxy mama is a in your face neon orange with a gold shimmer running through the polish. The consistency of this polish is good not to thin or thick, the first coat of this polish is quite streaky but the second coat covers everything and makes it fully opaque. I love the colour of this polish its so neon and in your face you can't help but look at your nails. The gold shimmer that runs through this polish does show up on the nail, I do feel like this polish would look better if you have a tan but on most skin tones it will look great.

Not so mellow yellow

Not so mellow yellow is a bright sunshine yellow with a hint of lime green. The consistency of the polish is good the polish applied smoothly, the first cost I applied had good coverage but it was slightly patchy but the second coat fully covered everything. Yellow is a hard nail polish to pull off and I would say be careful with this polish because I don't think it will suit every skin tone but it has got a lovely formulation.

Peace love & polish

Peace love & polish is a coral polish with a gold shimmer running though the polish. The consistency is just right the polish applies lovely, also the coverage is good you only need two coats to make the polish fully opaque. The gold shimmer in this polish really comes across on the nail the polish looks especially pretty when you are in sunlight, this polish would look amazing if you are on holiday somewhere sunny.

Right on

Right on is a magenta polish with a blue shimmer that runs though this polish. This polish has a good consistency and the coverage is good the polish is fully opaque in two coats. I think this polish would make a lovely autumn colour because the magenta is deeper, unfortunately the swatch picture makes the polish look like a baby pink polish but trust me its a deep magenta polish.

Belle bottom babe

belle bottom babe is a denim blue polish with a red shimmer running through it. The consistency of this polish is on the thin side but its not hard to work with. The coverage is quite sheer on the first coat , you can get away with two coats but I painted three just because I'm quite picky. The red shimmer really comes across on the nail especially under the light or in direct sunlight this polish really comes to life.

The polishes I loved wearing this summer

Summer is coming to a end and for some people you might be sad but if your like me you'll be happy because the cozy months are coming, in Scotland we don't get much summer maybe a day or two so I love when autumn/winter comes around so I can wrap up warm in jumpers and chill at home all cozy with a warm drink. I am deviating from the point of this post I'm sorry this post is about all the lovely polishes I loved wearing this summer.

Danglefootpolish- Everlasting gobstopper

I loved wearing this polish the creamy white base with the pop of color from the different particles that are in this polish. Sometimes I find a pure white polish to harsh depending on how bright the white is but this polish is a milky white which to me is a easier white to wear and I love the pops of different colours.

Color club – Foxy mama

I haven't done my review for this polish yet but it will be coming next week so keep your eyes peeled. I feel like the picture kind of speaks for itself and why I loved this polish this summer.

China glaze – Rain dance the night away

I am a sucker for a blue polish and especially one with a good formula, this polish has a lovely formula and its a lovely colour. I have wrote a review for this polish so I will link it here if you would like to know more about this polish

Essie – Naughty nautical

I was never into green polish till this summer and this polish is one of my favorites. This polish is a lovely deep green with silver glitter that runs through the polish. I have wrote a review for this polish so I will link the post here if you would like to know more about this polish, feel free to check out the link http://kyliedoesnailpolish.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/may-favourites.html

Summer is coming to a end but it doesn't mean you have to stop wearing these polishes, wear whatever colour makes you happy polish is supposed to be fun if you don't like a polish/colour just remove it and try another one.

Essie – Make some noise collection

Groove is in the heart

Groove is in the heart is a salmon pink polish, I have to admit I hate the formulation of this particular polish the consistency is really thin, it was running down the brush while I applied it to my nail so just be careful if you are applying this polish. The first coat is very streaky and I felt like the polish was quite chalky, I had to apply three coats of this polish and I still wasn't happy with the finish, this polish isn't a neon its just bright.

Vibrant vibes

Vibrant vibes is a bright lime green polish the consistency of this polish again was on the thin side. The first coat I applied was quite sheer, I did have to apply three coats to make the polish fully opaque. This polish wasn't as hard to work with like groove in the heart was but it still isn't the greatest formulation, I would like to mention that the swatch picture doesn't do justice to this polish because it is a lot brighter in real life.

Coacha'Bella

Coacha'bella is a berry pink polish, the coverage of this polish was good I only had to apply two coats, it wasn't streaky which is a plus but it has got that same watery thin consistency that the previous polishes I mentioned have, so I just had to be extra careful while applying this polish I don't see how this is a neon but it is a nice colour.

Melody maker

Melody maker is a deep grass green polish, no surprise the consistency of this polish is rubbish but the coverage is decent I only needed to apply two coats so if you can get past the crappy consistency this polish would be ok. I personally think this polish would be a nice green to wear in autumn.

All access pass

All access pass is a indigo polish, this polish and groove is in the heart had to be the two worst polishes out of this collection for me, again thin consistency but this polish was super patchy I had to apply three coats of polish and I still wasn't happy with the finish, its a nice colour but its not worth the hassle.

Make some noise

Make some noise is a bright medium blue, the coverage of this polish is ok depending on how thick a coat you apply it will take 2-3 coats to make this polish fully opaque, again the consistency is crap just take time applying this polish because it might flood your cuticles. Just a little warning this polish will stain your nails so double up on your base coat or apply a base and white polish to prevent staining.
