Thrifty Thursday Essence Sunny London

Sunny London from essence is white with a few drops of grey I would call it a light dove grey it is a beautiful colour. This polish has a good consistency its not to thick or thin, the polish itself applied as smooth as butter and the coverage surprised me because usually some lighter colours of polish apply streaky but with this polish you could get away with just one coat but I applied two coats just to see if it would deepen up the colour and it did slightly. This polish does dry matte which I quite liked but its just personal preference it you add a glossy top coat or not. I really love this polish I don't know why there is just something about it it looks sophisticated it applies nicely and its super inexpensive I am definitely going to be buying a backup of this polish because I really like it and it will look great in any season.

Treatment Tuesday- Ciate Nail goddess Serum elixir

I don't own a nail serum and so this product is a new one for me, a little warning if you do purchase this product don't apply it like a cuticle oil, I did the first time I tried this product because I was expecting a super hydrating good for your nails cuticle oil like product. This polish is supposed to be applied like a nail polish that it dries clear and with a slight tackiness, I do have a little bone to pick with ciate they do not give you much information about the product on their website or on the products box I would love to know more about what this product does and how I'm supposed to use it. The box does say that this product is super hydrating it contains vitamin B5 and Marula oil and it also says apply one coat to clean bare nails. I feel like this product sinks into your nails after a couple of hours, it will dry initially slightly glossy and after a couple of hours of it on my nails my nails will be matte, I am not sure If this is a wash off product again I don't have much information about this product I don't think it washes off like the knight in shinning armour treatment I think the product just sinks into your nails which is nice. I don't feel like my nails are super hydrated after wearing this product I don't know if this product does much for my nails I do use cuticle oils religiously and I didn't really see much of a difference when I used this product. I would love to try different nail serums and see how they work I love nail treatments and anything that is going to make my nails healthier I am willing to try, I just wish ciate would provide more information for their treatment products.

Number 7 is a light sky blue polish, the consistency of this polish is super thin its almost like water I would suggest patience when applying this polish just take your time when applying so you don't flood your cuticles. The coverage isn't the greatest the polish does apply quite patchy and will take 2-3 coats for full opacity.

Thrifty Thursday Maybelline color show 5th avenue mattes Traffic stop

Traffic stop is a bright cola red polish that dries matte. This polish applies and looks like a jelly polish you do get good coverage but you can still see some nail line. I applied three coats of polish and I still felt like I could see a lot of nail line. The consistency of the polish is on the thinner side and the brush is wider so I would suggest taking your time when applying this polish because you will make a mess easily and red polish is a pain to clean up. I do like the finish of this polish I am getting into the matte finish more but if you don't like the matte finish you can always apply a glossy topcoat.

Throwback Tuesday Nails inc Little miss splendid

Little miss splendid is a mint green with a blue shimmer. This polish has a thin consistency but it isn't to hard to work with. The polish is very patch on the first coat and it will take 2-3 coats for full opacity depending on how thick you apply the polish, this polish does dry quite dull but its just personal preference if you apply a glossy topcoat or matte topcoat or just leave the polish as it is.

Fresh Friday Orly Colorblast Sunshine

Sunshine is a bright daffodil yellow with a bright pink shimmer, this polish has a thin formula that applies very sheer it takes 4 coats for opacity and I still felt like I could see my nail line on some of my nails. In the bottle it looks like the polish has matte micro green flecks but they don't show on the nail at all but what I do like is that the pink shimmer does show on the nail. This polish is a pain to work with but I don't have anything like this in my collection and the finished product if you can get it fully opaque does look nice. Unfortunately the pink shimmer doesn't show on the picture but trust me you will see it in real life, the shimmer in the polish makes it a pain to remove you will have glitter all over your fingers.

Thrifty Thursday Zoya KiKi

Zoya's KiKi is a neon Barbie hot pink with a silver shimmer. The consistency is lovely the polish applies smoothly, you will get decent coverage on the first coat but for full opacity it will take 2-3 coats depending on how thick you apply the polish. I wish I could purchase zoya more easily in the UK but its quite hard to get my hands on zoya polish, I found this one on amazon for about £5 which for a zoya is good because they usually sell for £11

Treatment Tuesday- NYC Strip me off (Peel of base coat)

I was in the market for a peel off base coat for a while because I swatch a lot of nail polish and I didn't wear a lot of my glitter polishes because the removal was such a pain in the ass. When I was originally looking for a peel off base coat there wasn't much options there is a few more now but they aren't massively available, I have had this base coat for about 7/8 months and I use is for all my swatches and sometimes my normal manicures and I am only about half way through which is good but also annoying because this base coat is ok if you let your polish fully dry, your polish will peel of nicely if you have a day old manicure and put some cuticle oil on to remove but when you have semi dry manicure that you are only applying to swatch this peel off base coat is crap it will just ball up and just get messy. This base coat is a hit and miss sometimes my normal manicures will peel off too easily which when you want to wear that polish for a couple of days can suck but with my glitter polish manicures it will be a pain to peel off, it might be ok to peel off the top of my nail but at the tips of my nails it wont peel of so easily, also you will sometimes get lumps in your base coat which is not what you want for a smooth manicure. I do have other peel off base coats that I haven't tried yet because I want to get through this one before I open another one. I like the idea of a peel off base coat but I am not the biggest fan of this particular one.

I had never heard of this brand until I came across it on beauty crowd. Beauty crowd were having a great promotion, 50% off all their products in February and I came across this polish brand which I haven't heard of before and thought I would try a few of their polishes. Little ondine state their polishes are made with natural ingredients and the polish when dried can be removed easily because it will peel off, which seems interesting because I use a peel off base coat for most of my manicures so for the peeling element to be mixed into a polish intrigued me. The consistency of this polish reminded me of lightly whisked eggs, thick and gloopy and not the nicest consistency. The coverage isn't the greatest very sheer and patchy, I applied 4 coats and I could still see a lot of my nail line. I personally think no polish no matter how nice it looks should need 5 coats for full opacity, also the polish was getting quite thick on my nail which isn't the nicest look, a plus and what I did like about this polish is it peeled off lovely it peeled off all in one which is what I like. I have purchased another polish from this brand because you cant judge a brand by just one polish and the brand does interest me, If you have polishes from this brand please leave a comment down below and tell me what you thought of the polish you own.

Thrifty Thursday Miss sporty Funtasy Holographic polish

This polish is a graphite polish with some small round holographic glitters. The coverage on the first coat was slightly patchy but the polish is fully opaque in two coats, the consistency of this polish was fine nothing special but not hard to apply. This is a nice polish I find mainstream brands don't do holo that great and this polish was just ok, I love the kind of holographic that is an your face rainbow that makes you stare at your nails all day this polish was just fine nothing amazing.

Throwback Tuesday LOréal Innocent green

Innocent green is a medium green with a hint of blue. The coverage is quite patchy on the first coat but this polish is fully opaque in two coats. The brush surprised me the bottle is so small but the brush is wide and rounded at the tip, I quite like a rounded tip I feel it helps with application but its just personal preference, the consistency was good for this polish not to thick or thin it was easy to apply.
