E.L.F- Vacation set

E.L.F Lilac

E.L.F's Lilac is a lilac polish but slightly deeper . The first thing you notice about this polish Is the smell it is so strong it smells like paint almost. The formula is slightly on the thicker size but its not to hard to work with,but I did notice the first coat dries tacky which makes the second coat slightly harder to paint, you could almost get away with one coat but I painted two.

E.L.F Mint green

First thing to mention this polish smells strong like paint the same as the other e.l.f polishes, I would say this is more of a sea green than a mint green as the name suggested. The formula is nice it was not tacky after the first coat and its almost a one coater. I did have some problems with the brush, one of the bristles stuck out longer than the rest of the bristles so it made it slightly harder to paint, and it you could see the brush strokes on the second coat, I don't know if that was down to the formula or the bristle.

E.L.F Punk purple

Punk purple again is quite strong smelling, the colour is a deep plum purple which I have to say is my favourite colour in the set. This polish can definitely be a one coater, I had no problems with the brush on this polish and the polish was not at all tacky. I had no problems with this polish just the smell is super strong but for all the e.l.f polishes the smell doesn't stay on the nails, so your hands don't stink of paint all day which is a good thing.

Cheeky- Tongue n cheek

Tongue and cheek is a bright orange with a little bit of red. The formula of this polish was very thin it was running of the brush which made it hard to paint, also after two generous coats you could still see some of the nail line, it did not paint on streaky I was just really not impressed with this polish.

Nars- IT

Nars IT is a deep metallic purple polish with a hint of blue. The formula for this polish is very watery, I don't know if I got a dud bottle or something because I had to shake my polish twice while painting my nails because it separated quite quickly. I did need to paint three coats with this polish because I could still see the nail line, the polish itself does dry supper fast which is a plus . I don't know if I got a dud bottle or Nars polishes are normally watery because I don't own other Nars polishes, but this polish was definitely not the best but I did like the colour.

Cuccio- Make a wish in Rome

Make a wish in Rome Is a lovely creamy teal polish, the consistency of this polish is good not to thick or thin the polish didn't streak . The brush was nice and slightly on the thicker side which I prefer which made the polish easier to apply.. This polish was almost a one coater and it dried quite fast, lovely colour and formula I really like this polish.

Barry M Gelly- Fondant

Fondant is a lovely lavender pink polish, the consistency of this polish is is on the thicker side the consistency did make it a little harder to apply the polish. The first coat of this polish was quite shear and streaky, I did have to apply three coats to have full opaqueness and the polish does dry glossy and fast.

All that jazz – Sofie's I own the runway

Sofie's I own the runway is and amazing midnight blue polish with blue and red purple and blue micro glitter running through it. I love the colour of this polish I am a blue fan and this polish is unique I feel every time you look at it you see a different colour of glitter, but what is also nice being the non glitter fan I am the glitter isn't in your face it just catches the light its a really beautiful combination . The formula was slightly on the thicker side and this polish was fully opaque in one coat but I painted two just for personal preference .The thickness of the brush was nice which made the polish easier to paint which is always a plus side, I really liked this polish.

Maybelline super stay- Mint for life

This is a beautiful bright mint green polish, the consistency is good maybe slightly on the thin side but it was easy to work with. This polish almost went on in one coat no streaks. I am impressed with this polish lovely colour nice formula and I am in love with the brush which helps in its easiness to apply.

Nailberry- Groseille

This is a bright coral polish ,the consistency isn't amazing it's quite thin but not to hard to work with. I did have to paint three coats with this polish because I could still see nail line on the second coat, the colour is lovely and the formula is workable.

Orly Mirror mirror

Orly's Mirror mirror is a light grey with a kind of silver tone without any metallic or shimmer, this is a cream polish with a very runny formula but it's not streaky at all, you could get away with just one coat of this polish but I prefer to paint two coats.

George – Frostbite

Frostbite is an bright azure blue polish. The formula for this polish is on the thin size but not so runny that its hard to work with, the polish didn't apply streaky and it was almost a one coater. This polish was ok the colour is nothing special the formula could have been a little thicker but it wasn't to hard to work with.

Bastien Gonzalez- No 10

This is a magenta polish, the consistency is water like and I had to paint three coats of polish, and I could still see my nail line. I am really not impressed with this polish at all the colour is nice but nothing special and the formula is hard to work with. Nails inc Notting hill carnival

Notting hill carnival is a lemon yellow polish that's not neon. I like this colour it's hard to find a nice yellow polish that suits most skin tones, what lets this polish down is the formula. The formula is like water it was hard to paint because of how watery the polish was, I do have to say it didn't paint on streaky which is a plus but it did need three coats. I like the colour of this polish but the formula is so bad and usually I like nails inc formulations this one was just awful .

Rimmel sugar crush- Fizzy applelicious

Fizzy applelicious looks green in the bottle but when on your nails I feel it looks totally different, it looks like a white sliver with a slight hue of lime green with a silver sparkle running through it. This is sugar texture polish a bit like sally hansen's sugar coat or china glazes texture polish, so it has little granules running through it to create the texture, but it doesn't make it any harder to paint. I painted three generous coats of polish and it just started to look opaque, it wasn't streaky going on I could just still see my nail line on the second coat. The brush was thick and I prefer a thicker brush, I find thicker brushes easier to paint thats just my personal preference. The polish itself dries matte but with the sparkle running through the polish it makes the finish different you could apply a top coat if you would like.

Revlon Colour stay- Pocket aces

Pocket aces is a bright coral polish , the formula was slightly on the thicker side but the consistency didn't make it hard to paint , what also helped was the brush which is on the thicker side. The polish itself was a only needed two coats but it didn't dry super glossy so you would definitely need a top coat.

Renunail- Pomegranate

This polish has a triple strength formula it is enriched with keratin, bamboo and calcium which in time of wearing this polish will help the condition of your nails. This polish is a bright rose red with a super glossy finish, the consistency is sort of on the thicker side and while painting my nails I realised you didn't need much product on the brush and it only needed two coats of polish. I also loved the brush it is thicker which makes it easier to paint, all in all I liked the formula I'm not the biggest red polish fan but you can't like everything .

Sally hansen – Take the leap

Take the leap is a sheer lavender polish with blue, pink and purple shimmer running through it. To get this polish fully opaque you would need about five to six coats which no person has time to paint, which is why this polish is probably meant to be on top of another polish. The formula of this polish was good and I love the sally hansen brush which is on the thicker side but that's personal preference. All in all this is a nice polish the colour is unique and the formula is good.

Color Club – It's Electric

It's Electric is a glow in the dark polish that should be worn on top of another polish, for this post I applied the polish on its own and I painted three coats. The colour itself is a lime green with a hint of yellow and it has holographic glitter running through it. The formula was thick but workable it was not to hard to paint even having medium size glitter partials in the polish. The polish does glow in the dark pictures down below.

Astor fashion studio- 138

Astor fashion studio 138 is a creamy bright orange polish. I have to say I'm not impressed with this polish the first, second and third coat of this polish was streaky, I stopped on the third coat because I didn't think a fourth coat of polish would help and I don't have time to paint four coats of nail polish, when I was painting each coat I felt like the polish was getting tacky as it was going on, this is not a result of the polish being fast drying because quite a few hours later I could dent the polish if I bashed my nails , the polish never really felt totally dry. The colour itself isn't anything special and I feel like the tone of orange would work better on someone with a tan, unfortunately I'm not a fan of the formula of this polish but that's just my opinion.

Cherimoya -Maliblue

Maliblue is a super bright azure blue. The consistency of this polish is slightly on the thicker side, it's not to hard of a formula to work with, and the polish is gel like. I only needed two coats with this polish and it dried super glossy and was fast drying, this polish is the perfect summer blue.

Models own – Red alert

I am not the biggest red polish fan so I'm sorry if I'm not singing the praises of the colour of this polish. Models own Red alert is a vibrant fire engine red which would be a great red for the summer. The formula for this polish was slightly on the thicker side but it wasn't to hard a formula to work with , the first coat had good coverage and made the polish look jelly like. The finish for the polish is supper glossy it's almost gel like in finish.

Essie - Nice is nice

Nice is nice is a lovely pastel lavender, it's the perfect polish for all year round. The consistency of this polish was super thin it was running off the brush which scared me a little, but the first coat did not go on streaky I was shocked considering it had a thin formula and was a pastel colour. The polish only needed two coats and it dried fast. The colour for this polish is nothing special there are many different pastel lavender nail polishes out there, but I was impressed this polish didn't apply streaky.

China glaze - Son of a peach

China glazes Son of a peach is a bright peachy orange polish. I am so disappointed with this polish, I like china glaze as a brand and I loved the look of this colour. The first coat was streaky and you need to work fast with this polish or else you will drag the polish you have painted. I painted on three coats and it was still patchy as you will see in the pictures. The polish itself dries matte which I know some other bright/neon polishes that dry matte so I was fine with the fact it dried matte. The formula was just rubbish which sucks because the colour of this polish looked like it would be so nice .

Lola- Bluebell

Bluebell is a cornflower blue polish. it has a super watery consistency which was hard to work with, the first coat goes on sheer but not streaky. I had to paint three coats of polish with this formula, I really hated the formulation of this polish, the colour itself is nice but three coats hard to work with and very watery.
